Sunglasses are really hard to buy for me. I’ve got a really wide face so I find that I need a pair that has big lenses to accommodate for the width and height. This applies for prescription glasses too.
When Firmoo reached out to me to review their sunglasses, I knew I had to pick one with the above criteria. Something in a similar shape to my go-to pairs by Ralph Lauren (seen here).
I like sleek sunglasses. Nothing too flashy. Kind of mysterious. If my sunglasses were a car, it would be black, with heavy tint on the windows, and you would never know who was driving. That kind of vibe 🙂
The first thing I noticed when these came in the mail was the case. I love the world map design. I’m passionate about travel so I think that’s why I gravitate towards it. In fact, I’d love to have a big world map on a wall in my future home 🙂
The second thing my eyes zeroed in on were the red handles and mirrored lenses. I was surprised. I was so busy worrying about the shape that I overlooked what other features it would have.
The red handles are a little too flashy for everyday wear for me but I could definitely see myself wearing them at a summer music festival. As for the mirrored lenses, I don’t mind. Reminds me of snowboarders.
People like to spend money on different things. Some people like to invest in bags. Others in shoes. For me, it’s watches. If sunglasses aren’t the item in your wardrobe that you want to be spending a good amount on, I think Firmoo could be good for you.
As far as I can tell, both prescription and non-prescription sunglasses are under $50.
Thank you to Firmoo for sponsoring this post.
