If you’ve ever wanted to see me with a bowl cut, your wish gets granted today 😉
I wouldn’t say my Mom and I are very close. On a scale of 1-5, I’d say we’re like a 3. But I do love her very much and I can’t imagine my family without her. Although she is someone I love dearly, I have the worst time trying to shop for her – well, both my parents, really. It’s like I don’t know anything about my parents’ hobbies and interests to get them a gift worthy of giving. Plus, they’re not good at dropping hints.
The struggle is real.
(Should you be interested in helping me figure out what to get my Mom for Mother’s Day, she likes orchids, shopping, watching dramas, is anti-spas, and doesn’t like strenuous activity.)
*No idea how old I am here. But, it was my Mom’s birthday. (We didn’t know there was a fourth picture.)
Even in the face of these parental gifting troubles, I think it’s safe to say there are tried and true gifts that people can turn to every year when Mother’s Day rolls around: perfume, makeup, and jewelry.
I think every woman would like a signature fragrance just not every woman wants the same type of fragrance. You could help her figure out which one she likes best or to help her discover new ones.
As for makeup, women like variety – and they like choices. Sometimes variety means hordes and hordes of makeup in hordes and hordes of drawer space. And at the other end of the spectrum, sometimes variety means having 3 lipsticks to cover all the occasions you would need lipstick for. (That’s probably me.)
Finally, we have jewelry. Just think of the song, “Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend”. 😉
Without further ado, I’m proud to present my very first “gift guide” since becoming a rewardStyle member!
Everything is under $200.
